LocationHong Kong
Project Completion Date2010

JEC installed a Comprehensive Integrated Facilities Management (CIFM) System for the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). There are three campuses in HKBU that cover about 50,000 sq meters in Kowloon. JEC's CIFM system provides the university with a single expandable intelligent platform that integrates the university's various systems into one overarching portal.

Building Systems Integration
Different campuses previously had different vendors for their access control, CCTV, Building Management Systems (BMS), alarms, car parking systems, and monitoring systems. The CIFM brings all of the existing systems into a single platform that manages and controls all of the buildings' systems. The CIFM takes into account all of the buildings' sub-systems (such as air-conditioning and security) to share information and streamline into a common system which allows centralised and user-friendly control, monitoring, maintenance, and management.

Reporting and Energy Management
The system also facilitates the production of timely data reports and analysis. Energy consumption across multiple facilities can then be tracked and investigated, providing the basis for effective energy management. Weekly or monthly service reports also allow our customer to manage equipment life cycles better, reducing the need to replace or upgrade overused or old equipment frequently.
