Siriraj Hospital complex is located in the Bangkoknoi district of Bangkok, consisting of over 75 buildings with approximately 2,600 beds and over 12,000 doctors, nurses and staff. This comprehensive healthcare facility covers an area of approximately 117,000 square metres,
making it the largest public hospital in Thailand.

Since 2006, JEC Thailand has continued to provide the maintenance, supply, testing and commissioning of the key E&M systems for the important Chalermprakiat Building where the H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej and other members of the royal family reside when being
treated at the Siriraj Hospital.

JEC Thailand has also secured the contract for the design, supply and installation of the fire alarm system, and a state-of-the-art Building Automation System (BAS) for the Center of Excellence in Bio-Medical Research and Center of Excellence in Medical Care of the Faculty
of Medicine at the hospital.

E&M Systems Solutions for the Chalermprakiat Building:

JEC Thailand designed, supplied and installed a comprehensive range of the hospital’s key E&M systems and provides ongoing preventive maintenance for them.
The systems include:

  •  Electricity machineries
  • Air-conditioning system
  • Sanitary system
  • Fire safety system
  • Security system

Building Automation System (BAS):

JEC Thailand has also installed a state-of-the-art BAS which efficiently integrates the control and operation of the hospital’s following core systems:

  •  Chiller system: Control and monitoring of the temperature settings and operation
  •  Air-conditioning systems: Control, monitoring and coordination of the Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units and the Variable Air Volume which are designed to operate according to the load volume of the building; the indoor air quality of the system is also tracked
  •  Lighting system: Facilitates efficient control of lighting to avoid unnecessary usage
  • Electricity system: Monitors electricity consumption of the various systems throughout the building providing valuable information for targeted energy and environmental management
